Welcome to Duhallow Vintage Club



The Club members are getting ready to participate in this years local St Patrick’s day parades starting with the Rathmore parade on Sunday the 15th at 2pm at Hickeys filling station. Then on the 17th the start times of the various parades are as follows: Boherbue at 11.30, Newmarket at 12.30, Kanturk at 2.30, Charleville at 12.30, Mallow at 2.30 and Millstreet at 5pm.
This year is the club’s 20th anniversary so to celebrate the club is organising a special Spring run with an overnight stay at the Riverisland Hotel, Castleisland on March 28th. Free sign on from 3pm at the Cois Abhann Centre, Freemount. The total cost for BB, dinner and live music is 55 euro per person sharing. A short run will be organised for Sunday 29th. 40 rooms have been reserved and the hotel has secured parking. To book your place contact Jim O Doherty on 087 2707810.

About Us

The present Duhallow Vintage Club was formed in January 1995 and currently has around 40 active members who hail from the Duhallow region of North Co Cork The club organises runs and events throughout the year and caters for enthusiasts for classic vehicles, bikes, tractors and machinery of any types and marques. The clubs annual activity starts with the AGM being held in February. In March members participate in the local Patricks day parades in Newmarket, Kanturk and Millstreet. The Spring run is usually held in April which is always well supported by other clubs and a Summer run being held in July. The August Joe O Connor run is the final run of the year while a weekend away is usually held in November. In 2013 the club hosted its first stationary event which was held on the grounds of IRD house Newmarket.This event was preceded by a tractor run which was very well supported. Funds raised from the events are donated to local charities and worthy causes. In 2013 we raised €2000 for local charities. In 2014 the club raised €1500 for local charities and  €950 for the Help Emma fund.


Any Person over 18 years of age is welcome to join the club and remember, you don’t necessarily need to own a vehicle! Just a love for classic and vintage cars, bikes,tractors or machinery.The membership form can be downloaded here.
